Free Eye Clinic

Care and Kindness Society (CKS) has started yet another Free Eye Clinic and CKS's Operation Theater (O.T), located within Fazl-e-Elahi Hospital (FEH), a small and hygienic set up near Bhittai colony, Allahwala town, Karachi. This second Free Eye Clinic and Operation Theater started on February 18, 2005, so far 8,099 patients have attended the OPD and 364 surgeries have been performed.

Care and Kindness Society's first free eye clinic at DHA - Korangi road was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Saleh Memon, Chairman CKS, on March 23, 2003. This clinic was setup to provide quality service delivery to poor and under-served patients in need of timely eye treatment.

This clinic is located in Sadaf arcade on main Korangi road and is easily accessible to a number of less privileged and under-served areas like Azam Basti, Mahmoodabad, Akhtar colony, Hazara colony, Qayumabad and Manzoor colony. Approximately 18,338 patients have been treated at CKS's at this DHA - Korangi Free Eye Clinic.
